Nobody Home
I think we all should be allowed to have aides wheel us into work and do the job we can no longer do ourselves. Mitch McConnell was gone 92 days and was finally seen being wheeled around by numerous officials. I still have no idea whether he can actually talk, let alone think. He looked as if he was catatonic when he sat in the vehicle which was heading to the Capitol to cast a vote. He needed handlers to walk and talk him through the process. It's a charade and every American should be offended.
You want these old dinosaurs gone? Then get your butt out there in November. Then we need to make serious changes. There must be limits on how long one can remain in their political career. I don't care which side you are on or how sharp you think you are, you need to go, especially when you cannot even move without assistance. Especially when you need others to speak for you. Holy hell, I'm fucking glad I'm old. When I was in my mid-fifties and laid off it took me a full year before anyone would even look at my resume. And when someone did, it was to clean apartments for minimum wage. I'm not alone. There are millions out there who have been through a time when they are no longer wanted. I was fortunate enough to have a family to support me until life got a little better. I'd be homeless otherwise. Yet, this user, abuser and cretinous wraith gets preferential treatment.
If we are lucky enough to have some real say come November, I don't want to hear from our political party that we must now work together. Fuck that. This is a new ballgame. You have the orange man's son taking money from a Putin aide and life goes on as usual. What the fuck is wrong with us?
McConnell's days are nearly over, as is the demented leader in diapers. They can barely move without dragging their feet, but worse is they no longer have a brain. I just hope I live to see the day when our upside down is righted again. I like to watch dystopian movies, not be in them.
