"Well, Isn't That Special?"
Oh, boy. Okay, you can do what you want, but y'all think this is normal!?
Katherine Krick is... Uh, let's see, what is she? She's a minister pastor prophet apostle demon slayer. She claims to have the supernatural ability to draw out Satan and exorcise him from your body. She was in the midst of a book signing when a young lady had a conniption fit, or what they call, thrashing. I'm not sure if she was an actual paying customer or part of the entertainment. It sure got a reaction. I'm going to assume those in line, felt it.
I once dated (briefly) in my younger days a man who was dealing with his own demons. He grew up surrounded by crazy people who went to the church where people start to write and speak in tongues. He was torn between what he told me was a lot of theatrics and he was embarrassed by it all. So he said. Soon after we broke up because all along he had been dating a female who belonged to his church and he was swept away after seeing her thrash and speak in tongues. I guess that was a real turn on for him.
Look, do what makes you happy even if it's all bullshit, you know it's bullshit yet you continue to carry on because real life is boring AF, so a little pizzazz in your life sure makes living easier. But, it's when you start expecting the rest of us to get on board the crazy train that I need to speak in my tongue and tell you that we are on to you. You look like idiots. You might be fooling the very vulnerable. You know you are taking advantage of susceptible people, so I think you are worse than any thief or con man. You are the ultimate grifter. Your type has been around since Jesus and company, probably earlier because back in the day, survival meant fucking over others. Amen. Now you do it for money and you think it's cool to be considered special and since no one else finds you especially interesting ya gotta make it up! I can't find much information about Krick's early days except she wanted to be a singer/actor/dancer...
(((Sigh))) So she invented herself as one who can call out the demon in you. If she had a disclaimer before she begins the fun of exorcising on stage, whatevs. It's fun and amusing I suppose. But she claims to be legit- a word that cannot even be used in religion or whatever it is she's doing.
I'm thinking about performing myself, shake up my boring life a bit. There's been nothing on Netflix so maybe I'll head over to a Krick signing and do some old fashioned thrashing. Knock over some Satan books, spew oatmeal and corn, do a little dance and yell, "Could it be... SATAN!?"*
Krick has some credibility issues even amongst her fellow Christians. They want her to tone it down a bit. People are looking and not in a good way. Although, the little act made by the trasher probably didn't hurt her career goals, which is to not only separate you from Satan, but your wallet as well.
