Folarin Balogun.

That's the name that gets you arrested and deported to a country you've never been before. 

I have been following the futbol shenanigans involuntarily. It's in my face, like a pesky fly who won't go away. But, sports is a good thing. I'm into baseball, myself, although I have been quite disenchanted with the ball players and their love for Trump. The sporting world is an alpha world. I don't know why people are shocked when a women's team is overshadowed by the men. As James Brown would sing, "It's a maaaaaaan's world..." At least when it comes to sports. I know nothing about futbol, we used to call it soccer here, because we're special. People run around kicking a ball and cannot use their hands. I have nothing against the sport itself. It looks like fun and doesn't involve future brain damage. I like that. The current games should have been a way for the world to have fun, respect each other and leave the ugliness outside the stadium. 

So, apparently Folarin Balogun was red carded and suspended for a game. Y'all know that. Why, y'all know that, because you're watching. Why he was suspended is not relevant. What is relevant is our very own fuhrer sticking his nose into it because the team needs Balogun. The FIFA president and Trump lackey, Gianni Infantino, acquiesced and reinstated the player.

Interesting. 

This is the same country that would grab Folarin Balogun off a street, beat him up, call him names, throw him in a cell, deny access to due process and put him on a plane to whoever accepts our throw aways. 

But he's useful right now. He has a talent. The president likes winners. He will overlook Balogun's dark chocolate skin for a gold trophy because he's already thinking about where to place it in his golden room. 

I really don't know what the FIFA organization is gaining from this. They are bowing down to one fat tub of lard who never exercised in his life, has zero idea what teamwork is and has never had a beer with his buddies after a win. These sycophants would rather lose fans, the people who pay their salaries to sidle up to a walking, rotting garbage bin. 

You're being used, Folarin Balogun. You're nothing but a tool for others who suck off your talent. I have a feeling you don't care, as long as you can play a game. 

Honestly, everything, everything Trump touches is transformed into rot. 

No one wins. Absolutely no one. 

Update: Well, Belgium won. 4-1. That makes me extremely happy.

The Best Books Of All Time?

  😬 I consider myself an avid reader. Having noted that, there are very few books I have read from The Guardian's best 100 books of all time. My list is less than a dozen, even counting a few I started and never finished. 174 prominent writers participated in creating brain food for your pleasure. They each contributed ten of their favorite reads and someone somewhere somehow tabulated the favorites. Without further ado, the number one book of all time is ...... Middlemarch. The fucking hell it is. Lol. Like art, what you like is subjective. Some people believe Manga is good stuff. Others prefer historical novels, blah, blah, blah. I suppose the list is supposed to be taken more seriously because actual writers who make a living writing books have listed what they deemed the best read. I'm not a writer. I suppose like a musician who reads notes, understands the structure, the form, the timbre, they can recognize the whole. I just want a book that will entertain me and not try...

Benny, Benny And No Regrets

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
