Nope. Didn't watch it. I doubt I've seen one movie nominated. I'm a little behind, like ten years, but I can't help seeing the updates as I peruse the Internet. Some Bluesky members are upset that Sean Penn skipped the ceremony. Why? He doesn't have to show. I don't think it's in a contract when you start out in the business that you have to go to these self congratulatory parties. As I was scrolling today I came across something I was shocked to read. Did you know Apocolypse Now used real corpses? Those heads were real. Someone found out and the heads were replaced with live bodies who were buried in boxes with only their heads exposed. It's also true that a water buffalo was sacrificed by some tribe which doesn't let these filmmakers off the hook. Truly a despicable act.

Well, that was the beginning. Reading further along, he plans on shooting it himself instead of taking it to a vet. So this animal's last moments will be of more terror. I'm seriously wondering if this guy is even real. Why would you post something like this, for all the world to see what a disgusting piece of shit you are? I think he was trying to gain some sympathy by letting us know how very put out he has been for the last fifteen years by allowing this animal to live. He wonders why this creature was so unloving. Shit, it clearly doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. As you can see by his response, he treats everything with the same disdain. Looking further into his feed, he calls his dog, "Puppy Hitler." Cute, huh? I do know how it feels to lose a pet, several cats in fact. One rescue, a beautiful Main Coon was traumatized in his early months and didn't trust humans either. We never got angry with him, never called it an asshole because of how another human had treated him. We certainly didn't take him out back and shoot him when we thought it was his time to go. We grieved when he crossed the bridge because we loved him. Yeah, dude, you probably have more in common with that poor animal than you care to admit. Maybe, as you were growing up you were treated like garbage. Maybe that's why you hated this cat so much. You saw yourself in his distrust and wariness. Call me all the names you want, I'll stick up for the ones who have no voice.

Anyway, there's more if you care to read the rest on my Bluesky feed,* but it's not necessary. I don't plan on engaging with him again. Oh, and if I do happen to see other posts like this, where for some reason you think it's wise to show your true colors, I'll be there. It's the least I can do- to defend the unwanted, the hated, the creatures who deserved better.

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
