Ignoble

It only took fourteen years for a pittance of justice to be served. Andrew is no longer a prince. Virginia Giuffre isn't here to respond because she took her own life in April. Andrew has always denied the accusation he had sexual intercourse with a minor, but it took until now, after Giuffre's book was published for him to receive any consequences. He did pay a princely sum to appease the court in 2022 to make Giuffre go away. Giuffre was 16 in 2000 when her three year ordeal began. So this abuse has been known by many, many people for twenty- five years. I suppose I should feel something other than sadness. Relief, joy?  He thought his position in life would absolve him of any horrible behavior and for most of his life it did. I'm guessing at this very moment while Andrew has been forced to leave his home for something less princely but still more than he deserves, he is angry. He takes no responsibility or feels a shred of remorse. I can't even write about his ex wife who had nothing but kind words to say about Epstein. Why would she bite the hand(s) who have fed her? I believe she absolutely knew what was happening (allegedly) and did nothing but take advantage of the situation. Giuffre filed a lawsuit against Andrew in 2021. If not for her stepping up, knowing the backlash she would receive, I doubt we'd be here, demanding a list that holds the names of very powerful men- men who are without honor or dignity. They are predators and human monsters who destroy innocence with a casual dismissal because they believe it is their right as a man to take, to feed their desires.

Andrew has denied everything. There is one particular photo of him with his arm around the very young Virginia whilst Epstein hangs back. For every woman who has been abused, assaulted, touched, fondled, it is so clear what is happening in this photo. It makes me ill to look at Andrew as he latches on to this girl. A girl. A girl. Not a young woman. A girl.

For Andrew, he'll live his days in comfort, ranting and raving over his lot in life. He will never face the fact he raped a child. Never. Virginia isn't here, but we are and we can still fight for justice for all the other girls who were abused and ignored. Mike Johnson is doing everything in his power to protect the other child rapist. It might take another fourteen years to finally see justice served. The creep in office will be dead. I doubt he will serve one day of punishment for his ugly, sick life. That doesn't mean we give up. For Virginia and every child who was abused and not heard, it's time to listen and do the right thing.

*Again, I must add the word, "allegedly," because everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Damn. Very good Mags. I wish Virginia were still with us. We are still with her.
