The Mouse Caved

I've never been to a Disney fantasy land. I have relatives who make it a yearly journey. That's two adults and three children. The cost of a one day ticket to Disney world is around $120 per person. A hamburger will cost you around $14. Then you must pay for lodging, plus y'all can't live on one hamburger for your stay. It's expensive, and don't even think you're going to get out of there without souvenirs. Amusement parks have never interested me. I've been to Six Flags over the years when my sapling was young. The last time I went it was close to 90 degrees farenheit and I got sick from the heat. My child was off somewhere trying to get on as many rides as possible. I also don't do rides since I get nauseous riding an elevator. I was sweating profusely until I wasn't which isn't a good sign. All I wanted was a Tylenol ( take that, asshole) and some water. I walked from shop to shop in a daze until finally I bought a six dollar travel pack of two Tylenol. As I sat waiting for the meds to kick in, a seagull shat on me. Let me inform you, they hold a massive amount of liquid poop. On top of that it was the Fourth of July and fireworks were supposed to commence shortly. In the distance I saw a bright white light, then nothing. Word was someone messed up and there would be no firework display. So all in all, par for the course in my social quests.

I watched Jimmy Kimmel's return on YouTube last night. I'm glad he called out Trump and Brendan Carr. He also made a joke (was it?) about renewing your subscription to Disney. He's between a rock and a hard place because the people he works for caved to the fuhrer, yet, they also pay his salary which is huuuge. I hope people will continue to boycott the Disney dynasty because it's all smoke and mirrors. It's a beautiful facade which hides an ugly business. I have no say regarding my relatives choice of adventures. Hopefully it will become so expensive they will go elsewhere for fun and a life time of debt. We do have the ability to make changes and it was heartening to see our voices were heard regarding free speech. Now let's work on getting RFK Jr out. He's a dangerous, and crazy man.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
