Uncle Snoop Dogg

 

I see the complaints nearly every day on Bluesky feeds. White people need to sit down and stfu when it comes to talking about black people and the issues they face because we have no idea what they go through. I don't respond usually because what's the point? They're right that we'll never truly know what they deal with on a daily basis, but they're wrong when they tell us to fuck off, leave them alone. I would say Bluesky brings out the extremists. On the other side of the spectrum are the Uncle Toms. Is that a slur? I don't know why it should be because it is what it is. Black people who have renounced where they came from- slavery, oppression, hate, discrimination... "Slave." If ever there was a deragtory word, that would be it. To deny the past and cozy up to the people who to this day would prefer you hang from a tree is bizarre and sad to witness. But hey, I'm just a white woman who has no idea what the black community thinks about the Toms. Clarence Thomas is the perfect example. He has lived his whole life trying to be a white man living in America. Why not? Being a white male in America is like getting the Willy Wonka golden ticket or winning the big life lottery ticket. You can do anything when you're a white man. Why you can beat and rape women with zero consequences. You can start companies and cheat and steal and treat your employees like disposable diapers and get away with it. You can be the ugliest mother fucker and get a pretty girl if you have money. Who wouldn't want to be a white man!? 

Which brings me to Snoop Dogg who denies he's an Uncle. He says he's 100% black. There's no problem if he likes to hang out with Martha or any other pale skinned folks, unless ... their history isn't one of being friendly towards people of color. In fact, they're the ones who want to see you swinging from trees. Right now, the orange man is sweeping off the streets of DC in order for the white people to be able to enjoy their day. That's who Snoop Dogg prefers to admire. Now he's in deep doo doo because he doesn't want to see cartoon lesbians in movies. He doesn't want to have to explain to his grandkids how a lesbian couple could have a child- a conversation which would take a few moments after enjoying the movie. It's funny how people who have been oppressed and treated like shit in this country, who know what it feels like to have people look at them with distrust, to even cross the street in order not to have their day completely ruined because black people are now in their white head. They should have empathy towards the LBGTQ community because they go through the same shit every single day. But, I'm just a white woman who should stfu and let the people of color speak up and shame a Trump loving, lesbian hating, Uncle Snoop. 

So now I'll just sit back and stfu.
