Burn, Baby, Burn

Red hatters are weird. Restaurant logos and symbols mean a great deal to them, more than human life, although they claim to be the party that loves the babies. Judging by the amount of right wing pedophiles, I see why they love the babies. They just don't love them when they grow up. Anyway, this is about the American flag and the confusion surrounding what you can do with it. Frankly to me, it's a piece of cloth. Yet, the orange man will have anyone arrested who disrespects the flag, even though I just watched a video where he signs his scrawl on one. And how about the gross looking Kid Rock who looked ready to enter RuPaul's drag queen fashion show, how is that not offensive? I see the morbidly obese red hatters attired from head to toe in flag regalia. So one old man, a veteran gets arrested in the town square for burning a flag, exercising his first amendment right. Right?

Well, sort of. I started the morning watching a young angry young man from the liberal side go into hysterics after seeing the old dude being escorted away from the burning flag. The secret service police walked in like they had all the time in the world. They actually looked all buff and adorable in their bike attire. One put out the fire as the dude protested, saying he was doing nothing wrong.

Dude, you're burning a flag on a brick sidewalk where there are other people standing by. The cops, a disproportionate amount, six to one, walked him off to the side. There was zero aggression on either side. He was handcuffed and led away, but not before he was allowed  to make a little speech. Hardly the scene which led to young dude hysterics. This is why I no longer watch the young male liberals on their YouTube channels or podcasts. They blow out of proportion what is actually happening. I will not abide by the use of scare tactics on either side.

The old dude has the right to burn the flag. In fact I think it's how an old flag is supposed to be disposed of. But, you can't burn highly flammable material on public property, especially when there are people around. I don't know why he was arrested. If it was for causing a potential fire hazard then I don't have a problem with that. If it was because Trump wants every American who says his name in protest arrested, then we have a problem.

I know the libs want people motivated, they want them to get angry by what is happening in this country. Well, we are angry. We are disgusted and shocked by the Trump regime's hubris and downright dictatorial behavior. Besides getting mad and burning flags and having mass walkathons and boycotting grocery stores, what the hell are we supposed to do? We can do a January 6th event, which won't happen because we are the weenies. Face it kids, no one in history has survived by saying, "Please, let's talk about it." We are the survivors of bastards, killers and monsters who cut off heads and carried them on sticks through the streets to show who's the victor. Right now we're just rooting for the decaying leader to croak. That's our plan, wait and hope.

Burning a flag in a park is a good story for the nightly news. It doesn't do jackshit to bring down a dictator. So, we wait and hope.

I get the first Amendment right to burn the flag; I just don't get the act itself. It's always for show. Why bother?
