That Oligarchy Woman

 


Just a short rant. I went looking for blogs I'd be interested in such as an art or writing prompt where the blogger gives us an image or word and we write something using that prompt. If you're on Blogger you know how hard it is to find other blogs. At least that's my experience. It used to be you just clicked on a word in your profile likes and hundreds of names would pop up. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I did find one promising blog I thought I'd follow. Every Friday they post a picture and then the blogger must write 100, 1,000 (can't remember which) words using that prompt.

Is this still short? Sorry. Anyway, even though it was a Monday I noticed a new prompt, the word being "storm." Yay, I can write something dark and dreary, but then I started reading comments for the challenge. I wish I had taken a screenshot shot before I unfollowed the blog. It was a comment about the "No kings" protests. An asshole, clearly a MAGA, wrote, 'Seems an "an oligarchy woman" bought protesters hats and shirts and signs to carry. Hahaha.' 

I knew exactly who he meant, the Walmart heiress, Christy Walton. Well, this was a first. I really hadn't been paying too much attention to her response to the protest. I think she wrote some op-ed criticizing the orange mope, even though the Walton family contributed millions to the far right coffers.

Yeah, this was as far as I was going to go in this blog after reading a few more comments along those lines. I wanted to reply, since I don't take my own advice to stfu and not bother with these morons. I was going to write, the only thing she may have contributed was the cardboard from Walmart purchases to make the signs. I didn't. What would have been the point? I'd still be angry. I'm still angry as I write this! For the past few days every awful, disgusting and egregious act has been perpetrated by the right, starting with the demented TACO, to his aides and representative Mike Lee who is a walking piece of garbage. I'm not done. Also, the pigs who hid behind masks, who zip tied an 87 year old man, to pigs who screamed at reporters, to MAGA'S who drove through peaceful protesters, to Proud Boy instigators who got around using a Penske rental truck, to the evil fuck who will claim God told him to go out and murder people. On and on.

Trump has got to go. Watching a video of Macron whispering in the ear of a far right leader as he was most likely talking about our looney leader, and they both were connected in their understanding and agreement regarding an angry, baby man having a giant tantrum. Trump isn't worried about the war in Gaza, Ukraine or Iran. He's mad because we didn't kiss his ass last Saturday. He's a danger to the world and I don't think I'm exaggerating. I sure hope someone is working on a solution here because we cannot do three plus years with him. He will kill us all. 

So, I will still work on seeking like minded bloggers and look for some fun stuff to keep my mind off the Apocalypse. If we're still here in the near future.

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
