The Left Must Be Right
It's fucking infuriating when people who are supposedly on the same side are asshats to each other. I wrote a post about the "assassination attempt" on Trump. My theory is it was a set up. It's a theory. I have no proof, just a puzzle with pieces that don't fit.
Yet, people are so certain it happened. They make up facts when there is absolutely no proof, then go bonkers when I call them out on it.
When I see false information on Bluesky I try to correct the misinformation. Some people thank me. Most get defensive and call me names, then block me. That's fine. I don't like when people purposely twist the narrative or are too damn lazy to verify the information. Just because we dislike red hatters and know they lie, lie, lie, there are bad eggs on the left who don't care about facts either.
We have zero evidence Trump and evil doers planned the assassination. Two men died. Would they go that far? Yes, probably, but we need proof. You can't say he refused treatment when you don't know that.
Did Harvard correct a letter sent by Education Secretary, Linda McMahon? No, some dude on X did it and people just spread that around, whether they know it's real or not.
Did Bob Woodward claim Trump wears Depends? No. Another Twitter satirical site did.
No, Obama doesn't wear anti-Trump t-shirts.
And this... I'm sure whoever posted it realizes its satire, but people will believe it. (Actually, they didn't)
It's been proven the Reich wing followers are more likely to believe false information. They practically swim in it. But the left cannot fall into the same traps. Verify, don't rely on one source for information.
Most of all, don't fucking attack each other when we are on the same side, but have a disagreement.
That's not cool. Or as da Pope didn't say, "Not woke."
