Read Jake Tapper's, 'Babes On Ice'

😬 That's gotta hurt. The Chicago Sun-Times published a list of summer reading material, most of which is fake. How does this happen? Well, cutting staff to bare bones might be one reason. Being bamboozled and letting your guard down, another.

I'm this old to remember Sunday newspapers being a standard in the Thingy household. You could hear them hit the ground when being delivered, they were that big. It took days to read it all, and we never questioned the validity of a story. We never had to wonder whether a human or a computer wrote it. The authors whose names were used in the summer reading list weren't thrilled to see fake titles, although some were amused. And angry. And appalled. That's where we're at with AI.

AI can be useful, but it can be very dangerous. It's not going away so we better learn to live with it and find ways to eliminate the danger. Also, there must be full disclosure stating what you are seeing is AI generated. Full disclosure: the girl reading the newspaper is AI generated!

I feel bad for everyone whose livelihood has been adversely affected, but, the times, they are a-changin'.

Speaking of AI, I decided to create a recipe... no, AI created the recipe with two ingredients I suggested. Bananas and steak.

It actually sounds pretty good. Enjoy, while reading a good book.

*I'd skip that twenty minute wait.
