Join La Resistance!

 


Having been on Bluesky for almost a month I feel I can impart sage advice.

But first, I have to say, being on Bluesky makes me feel as if I'm in the French resistance. I am connecting with people who are just as passionate and outraged by the American regime taking place as I am. It feels good to not have to look at posts made by magas, trolls, bots, Russian spies, incels, jokers and jesters.

Ah, but don't be fooled. They slither amongst us. 

I have gotten friend requests from people who haven't posted anything in months. Sorry, I won't follow you. I won't follow people who have twelve followers yet have followed ten thousand blueskyers. I have seen trolls who post misinformation, clearly working for the other side. I haven't been friend requested by any man who needs funds to get home, pleading, "If only you would cash this $15,000 check, I guarantee ten fold, my darling."

There are a lot of people who are very popular on Bluesky. They can say, "I pooped my pants," and get two thousand likes. I will never understand how one person has such a following. Fake? (((gasp)))) 

My main reason for joining Bluesky was to enter the political fray. I'd go absolutely insane if I didn't see posts written by intelligent and caring like minded individuals who intend to push back on fascism. 

But, I like other stories as well. Show your kitties and sunsets! I post my blogger stuff on Bluesky. It's there to read. If not, that's fine. I don't have any hidden agenda, which is what I saw on Twitter during the three, four months I was there. Everyone was selling something. Their books, their art, their ideology. Not for me, thank you.

Before the election I read The Daily Mail. It is a right wing propagandist rag, but sometimes they had news before anyone else. I also began leaving comments, fighting with Trump minions and trolls, mostly trolls hired by the paper to spread misinformation. It was a truly dark place. I haven't been back and will never go there again. I understand why popular news hosts enter right wing cock fights, but, I cannot go there. They make me physically ill when I have the misfortune of seeing a post as they spread vicious lies and cheer on the complete destruction of our Constitution.

Anyway, I'll be on Bluesky until Trump shuts it down. He will try. 

My advice, don't let your guard now. We are being watched. Who knows how far they will go? They have already shown they will stop at nothing to have their way.

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
