"The Internet Is A Store..."
Look, I understand y'all have to make a living. Finding a reliable news source is getting harder and harder because ya want money upfront before we can read varying opinions and even legit information. One of you is a prominent lawyer who also has a website where you must subscribe to be able to get any news. I'm seeing this more often and at this point I haven't paid for any news media sources except for The Guardian. Which means, eventually I'll probably just be reading bogus crap and Reich wing lies because I can't afford to be enlightened. I'll take a thousand ads instead of paying ten, twenty, a hundred versions of the facts. Now every media must take a stand and a side so we only get a lopsided version of the truth. That's not just a right wing mentality. The left is filled with political pundits, writers, influencers who need their wallets filled before they'll hand you information, which is mostly a skewered version of the truth. You're a liar if you deny blowing up certain news events to make the other side look bad. The truth is somewhere in there but it's not enough. Soon people like me will get their news from garbage sources because we can't afford to read real news. It's frustrating. I guess I could be a member of X where it's a rabbit hole of opinions, lies and name calling where many of you self righteous analysts like to hang out. You bitch about Elon, but use still use platform.
We are on a real slippery slope, especially when I seek information and get most of it from a bot now.
I'm not paying to read your opinion. I'm not subscribing to your exclusive articles. Fuck that. We better find another way, soon, for everyone to have access to unbiased news. You can scream Henny Penny all day long but you're part of the problem when you deny everyone in becoming better people.
