Are We Having Fun Yet?
Well, fudge, we know what mom and dad do for fun. Nine kids. I guess he's the transportation secretary, Sean Duffy. The left is angry because he went on a road trip with wife and kids for a very frickin long time. During a seven month period they traveled around the country making sure the roads, bridges and highways were all in good shape.
Lol. Nah. They did it because it was a free vacation and Duffy did what he loves (besides sex) and that is getting in front of a camera and talk about himself, Amerikkka, God and I don't know what because I won't be watching it.
Don't worry, we didn't pay for it. Boeing and Toyota each paid $1 million. Wow, that's some road trip. Why there's absolutely no conflict here! So what if these companies he is supposed to keep an on so there's no hanky panky, pay for the trip. Stop being a bad American and let the guy have fun.
Good ol' America, where no one can afford gas. What an interesting thing to do. Just shove your trip in our faces. What's that word? Oh, vicarious. Yeah, we're all going to live vicariously and watch Duffy and clan have fun, although, judging by that picture, 👇 the Mrs. doesn't look happy. She's probably thinking about the fun later. (((wink, wink)))
We didn't take road trips in the Thingy family. Not together anyway. There were a few occasions where we had to get in a car and go somewhere - together. Usually to the local bar where we five children remained in the car whilst the parents sat in an air conditioned bar and drank. Or, the time we were headed back from Aunty's summer cottage and the parents started arguing up front. My baby sisters were asleep as Dad started driving erratically and purposely swerving down dark country roads to scare mom. Fun times.
All in all, what Duffy did is mild compared to the rest of the regime. Corporations bribing government officials is nothing new. I'm curious though about who would actually watch these people. I feel like the now seniors who enjoyed, 'The Brady Bunch,' would probably enjoy it. You'll be able to catch the thrills on YouTube if you're interested.
Y'all can drop me off right here. I'll hitchhike home.
