Hump Wednesday 10
These gold coin commercials really bug the hell out of me. I truly think I'm ageist, which is goofy considering I'm not young. This woman talks about how she had been buying gold coins behind her husband's back for a few years but finally confessed. He's into stock. She collects coins. They show them playing golf together. I hate everything about these people. Anyway, she's going on about how safe she feels for her future. She's 85 for Christ's sake! What future? My sister was telling me about a friend she plays cards with who is 82. She just had all her teeth removed and plans to have those dental implants put in. Why would you go through that at that age? Some nice dentures can be made in a day. I don't get it.
So many naughty male celebrities in the news. Russell Brand had a hearing, although he's hiding out in this country. He has been charged with sexual assault and rape. Do I think he's guilty? Hell, yes. Timothy Busfield has also been charged with some sort of sexual assault. I think the charge was tickling boys. Both boys admit Busfield never touched their bits. Tickling is a part of a grooming process. Busfield has also been in trouble in the past, so I will remain mute at this time because I don't know. He was released today. Kiefer punched an Uber driver. Mickey says he ain't no charity. The Beckham boy has disowned his parents. I watched, 'That 70's Show,' the other night and can only think what a very bad person Danny Masterson turned out to be. Dumbass.
Gavin Newsom would like European leaders to grow a spine and stand up to Trump. I wish our own people would take that advice.
Ooh, ooh, ooh! Usha is carrying the spawn of Vance! Usha-4, Erika-0. Was it a diabolical plan to get JD to stay with her? I say, you betcha. Will it work? We all know how important family values are to Republicans. (((wink, wink)))
Brett Ratner, the modern day Leni Riefenstahl?
I made someone mad on YouTube. I've been getting feeds of a certain channel that interviews some interesting people with interesting stories. This one was about a former prison guard who went bad about a minute after he was hired. He brought in phones, drugs, whatever the prisoner wanted, for a price of course. He was caught after a year and did some time. Now he talks about his "mistake" to share with others not to be like him. Duh and no shit, Sherlock. It's something five year olds know. Right from wrong. You aren't teaching one damn thing. I don't understand people who have done awful things and then want to talk about it. It's like our MAGAs who can't shut up about suddenly realizing Trump isn't their God. We know! So go stfu and live with it. You'll get no sympathy from me, which was pretty much the gist of my comment I left on YouTube. The former prison guard replied about people hiding behind computers who throw stones, or something like that. I replied that I never shoved phones down my pants. There are people who don't choose to do bad things. He made a choice. Just go away and try to be a decent person. I'm tired of hearing about people who were absolute shits, were caught, then found the light. It's an interesting tale with no purpose other than to get a load off their chests.
It has been very difficult for me to get interested in a movie or series lately. I don't know if it's me or simply because there's so much garbage. Last night I watched a movie I absolutely loved. 'Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter.' It is about a lonely young Japanese woman who hates her job and has a pushy mother who only wants her daughter to find a mate. Kumiko finds an old VHS tape of the movie, 'Fargo.' She keeps replaying the part where Steve Buscemi buried the briefcase filled with money near a farmer's field. One day her asshat boss tells her to go buy a present for his wife and hands her the company credit card. Naturally, this is Kumiko's chance to go to Fargo to find the treasure. I absolutely love this movie. It's heartbreaking. It's beautiful to look at. The actress who portrays Kumiko is so terrific. Watch, 'Fargo,' if you've never seen it. I think it's one of the best movies ever made. (Fargo, not Kumiko, although, it's very good)
Okay, remember, if you don't hear from me, I've been captured by Chinese hackers who have me making Temu products and Thingy is no longer Thingy. Don't forget me.
