The Cutters

The influencer known as Mary Magdalene is dead. She left a cryptic message, a quote from the movie, 'The Truman Show,' before plunging nine stories from a hotel room in Phuket.

I'm not sure what is happening to what I have been seeing lately regarding the transformation of lovely woman who turn into something not human. What bothers me more is the monsters who would do this to another human being. I have no idea why women are doing this to themselves. Normally I would say, "If something makes you happy, go for it." I don't think they're happy. You don't plunge off hotel balconies if you're happy. You don't continue to cut yourself into a cartoon character because you are happy. Instead of women being constantly expected to look fucking amazing because we are absolutely useless if we don't look the way society expects, we need to start having serious discussions about what the hell is going on. The first step is to start going after the flesh cutters. This is absolutely abominable what they have done to this woman. Do women truly despise themselves that much? I see how this latest social construct has affected a young girl in my family. She constantly talks about her lack of certain body assets. She's twelve. The other day she posted a picture of herself with an exaggerated bbl. Mostly, it was for a laugh. Partly, it was an experiment. This is what is happening to girls who are influenced by women who believe they need to reconstruct their body to be admired, or at least, noticed. By who and for what purpose? Are people that really hung up on being the center of attention? I am just so confused and angry by this horrific abuse. We are not your experiments. Stop doing this to us and stop allowing this phantom ideology to continue.
