The Autopsy

 


I suppose the death of Kamala Harris' campaign needed an autopsy. A coalition group did just that. Sort of. The autopsy goes into who did not vote for Harris and why they stayed away. Reading the article I do agree with their assessment that Harris alienated the younger generation. She also did something I noticed at the time she was out campaigning. She played nice with the right. She wanted everyone to come on in, to the point where she ignored the people already in. Israel was a big sticking point for many of the younger voters. She chose not to break from Biden's stance and support for Netanyahu. Yes, there are a lot of things she could have done differently. Not once does the autopsy mention the death was because she was a woman. They do compare her campaign to Hillary Clinton's only by blaming them for their strategy and not because we have a problem in this country. It is still a patriarchal society where too many men still believe they are superior to women and people of color. The problem really wasn't because Harris was willing to work with people who disagreed with her agenda, it was simply because men had no intention of having a woman as a leader. They truly believed in the macho mentality of Donald Trump. Groups can take apart the body, examine the wounds and never say it out loud. She lost because she was a woman. Hillary lost because she was a woman. Trump won because for too many people he is what a man should be. He takes what he wants. He abuses women. He steals, cheats and lies to get ahead. There's enough blame to go around. Harris doesn't deserve the harsh criticism she has been given. Percentage wise, because people like numbers- I give her 10% of the blame. 70% goes to the citizens who sat home. The rest to men, Magas and racists - which is really all the same. 

I'll be looking forward to Trump's autopsy and I don't mean the woulda, coulda, shoulda analysis five years from now. It'll be interesting to hear the excuses from those who aided and abetted this cretin. I won't need some asshole journalist who did nothing during Trump's reign come out with their version of what went wrong. Keep your thoughts to yourself. We're living it. You don't need to pick it apart like the vultures you are.

Benny, Benny And No Regrets

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.    Ashli Babbitt was a traitor to this country. They can have all the ceremonial shenanigans the military likes to present as the deceased has been offered full military honors (We all know who requested that) it still won't negate the fact that she and thugs like her stormed a government building to do harm to others.
