Simone Biles NFL Husband Stays Out Of It

 





This makes me sad. Even though the writer of the article apologized, it's a weird mindset. He claims because he's a football guy, that's where his head is at. Simone Biles has been shit upon time after time throughout her career. During the 2021 Olympics she had to drop out due to what she calls, "the twisties," where spatial awareness is lost and terror sets in. The online comments were sickening to read. She came back in '24 and earned three gold medals. She deserves so much more. I sense even after what she has accomplished she doesn't see herself as worthy of her achievements.

And speaking of deserving better... I watched a bit of the winter Olympics back in February. Biles and her NFL husband were in the audience. I don't recall what the event was, but as the camera panned on the couple my heart sank. I watched as Biles was talking to her husband who had his back to her. You could tell he heard was she was saying with a side glance, but never responded or turned her way. It was a few seconds, so I don't want to form a negative view based on that one instance. In 2025, Biles got breast implants. I wonder who suggested that? I also read her husband doesn't want to get involved in this sad situation. He said he'll let her and her family handle it. Soooo, he's not her family? He doesn't have to start a fight or say anything deragatory, but to remain silent actually says a whole lot about this relationship, in my opinion. 

Biles is an amazing athlete. She seems like a really terrific person. I want her to be happy. It's her life and not my business, but... Simone, you deserve better. From everyone.

That is strange! Her husband was a Chicago Bear- so don't hold that against him, ya cheesehead. She was sooo good and I can imagine "the twisties" could affect a lot of athletes in her profession. I hope she's alright!

Oh, I should have added the Bears part. That's egregious. Should I call them the Hammond Bears now?

Probably eventually, but it's not a done deal yet. A Lot of teams play outside of their city/state. The NY Giants and Jets play in New Jersey!

The Best Books Of All Time?

  😬 I consider myself an avid reader. Having noted that, there are very few books I have read from The Guardian's best 100 books of all time. My list is less than a dozen, even counting a few I started and never finished. 174 prominent writers participated in creating brain food for your pleasure. They each contributed ten of their favorite reads and someone somewhere somehow tabulated the favorites. Without further ado, the number one book of all time is ...... Middlemarch. The fucking hell it is. Lol. Like art, what you like is subjective. Some people believe Manga is good stuff. Others prefer historical novels, blah, blah, blah. I suppose the list is supposed to be taken more seriously because actual writers who make a living writing books have listed what they deemed the best read. I'm not a writer.   It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
