We gather together on this Sunday to choose sides.

The Pope, or,

The dope.

Sean Hannity is renouncing his religion in support of the orange man who wouldn't know a psalm, a proverb or a line from Dr. Seuss.

Neither does Hegseth who quotes from Quentin Tarantino movies.

Or, Vance, who thinks the Pope should stay out of the theology biz.

People are taking sides which amuses me and also makes me so very disappointed. I have no doubt the Pope is a good man who happens to have great faith in his God. He's the cool Pope who doesn't exclude certain groups the Catholic community would like to expunge. Y'all know who I'm talking about. Yeah, he's okay. Except for the fact he's running one big massive cult. He's the leader of the band. I'm sort of rooting for its continued existence if the people who are in it continue to believe they better behave or they will suffer the consequences. That's fine by me.

I so wish I could remember the movie (Mission Impossible?) where a group of people enter a convent to receive help for a downed comrade. The main character starts discussing theology and how one can believe in such nonsense. The mother superior looks at him and confesses to him they don't believe in a god, but they want you to believe in a god. The world would be complete anarchy without one.

It blew my mind, honestly. The Catholic church has been a sanctuary for pedophiles and psychopaths for centuries. The new Pope is light amongst the dark, so if you find solace within this organization, okay fine, even if it's all a good prank on you.

As for the other cult, the truly dark side, run by a real life Randall Flagg, there must be a reason people choose this man to one who prefers we not kill each other. Hannity has chosen the orange man. Vance is arguing theology with a man who studied and lives every day spreading its meaning. Hegseth uses movie quotes to defend the murder of innocents. 

I lost my religion when I was twelve. I'm losing faith in humanity as well. I hope people like Hannity, Vance and Hegseth are the exception and not the rule. I'm hoping people still want to be good and kind towards their fellow travelers because it's the right thing to do and frankly, it feels better when we are not consumed with hate.

So, if you still believe in prayer, go sit in a church and ask for better days.

If you still believe in the future for mankind, go to a voting booth and ask for better humans.

And psychopaths are typically NOT how Hollywood propaganda movies (or the Wikipedia/WebMD propaganda outlets) have showcased them. And therefore one better RE-learns what a psychopath REALLY is. One'll then know why they exploit/harm everyone, why they want to control everyone and have been creating a new world order/global dictatorship, and many other formerly puzzling things will become very clear.

But global rulership by psychopaths is only ONE part of the equation that makes up the destructive human condition as the cited article above explains.

Without a proper understanding, and full acknowledgment, of the true WHOLE problem and reality, no real constructive LASTING change is possible for humanity.
And if anyone does NOT acknowledge, recognize, and face (either wittingly or unwittingly) the WHOLE truth THEY are helping to prevent this from happening. And so they are "part of the problem" and not part of the solution.

The Best Books Of All Time?

  😬 I consider myself an avid reader. Having noted that, there are very few books I have read from The Guardian's best 100 books of all time. My list is less than a dozen, even counting a few I started and never finished. 174 prominent writers participated in creating brain food for your pleasure. They each contributed ten of their favorite reads and someone somewhere somehow tabulated the favorites. Without further ado, the number one book of all time is ...... Middlemarch. The fucking hell it is. Lol. Like art, what you like is subjective. Some people believe Manga is good stuff. Others prefer historical novels, blah, blah, blah. I suppose the list is supposed to be taken more seriously because actual writers who make a living writing books have listed what they deemed the best read. I'm not a writer. I suppose like a musician who reads notes, understands the structure, the form, the timbre, they can recognize the whole. I just want a book that will entertain me and not try...

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
