I'm Turning MAGA


This scares me because sometimes I feel I'm turning MAGA, because I sometimes agree with the dickheads ruining the country. A Hyundai plant in Georgia was visited by ICE recently and almost 500 employees were arrested for being here illegally. Not from Mexico, but from South Korea. The details are a bit sketchy. One article states the investigation has been ongoing for months. What I don't understand and I cannot seem to find is if any of the bigwigs were arrested. Some South Korean bosses want to meet with Trump. Uh, why? Are they going to go with the defense they didn't know over 400 employees were working there illegally. That is nearly 500 jobs Americans could have! I'm throwing up in my mouth a little bit because I actually think this was a legit arrest. I haven't seen anything regarding how these people were treated or what their housing situation was, but there is a reason we do need ICE. 

Another unpopular opinion I have is this idea Trump may have been an informant regarding his pedophile pal and that is why he doesn't want certain information brought to light. He was the snitcher. It's just a thought, and it doesn't mitigate all the horrible things Trump has done. It's just one way to try and fit the pieces. People continue to try and punch square puzzle pieces into round holes and wonder why it doesn't work.

*Aha! There is an excellent video where Michael Wolff explains what happened between Trump and Epstein. It finally puts the puzzle pieces in place. I couldn't understand why Trump would be the snitch even though that was my guess. It wasn't because he finally grew a heart. It was to get back at Epstein. Gahd, this man is so vile. Watch the video. It's fantastic.

Anyway, he's still an asshole. They all are, but I can see their mindset regarding issues we face, like homelessness and healthcare. The Dems certainly didn't seem to have a solution about how to get people out of tents and into homes. And- we are fat. You have to agree we are a nation of morbidly obese and have health issues people should not be having. Proactive and preventative health care? What a concept. So, it's kind of like picking out the gold pieces in a vat of shit. I'm hoping I don't go full MAGA. But as George Takai would say, "And yet, here we are."

*Yay, I'm a fascist, too! Anyway, the Hyundai incident is still unfolding. According to an article in Reuters, visas changed per Trump and regime, so South Korean authorities knew before these employees came to  the US, they were using the wrong visa. We will learn more I'm sure in the coming days but if you really want to know anything  about anything, there are some experts in everything on Bluesky who will share their worldly experience.

500 foreign workers in Georgia is just wrong! That sounds like the plot of "Gung Ho" (with Michael Keaton). Totally defeats the purpose of their making cars here.
ICE went after our busboys when I was in the business years ago. It was an annoyance then. They are Trump's private army now. They'll keep you from becoming a "Maga-ie..."

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
