Etsy Selling Homemade Hate

 


 If you are like me, you are sickened by the recent news of people selling 'Alligator Alcatraz' merchandise online. We are in a litmus test of seeing how much more we can endure. Etsy and Amazon are the two biggest companies which have been selling the merchandise. I haven't been to either websites in awhile now. I stopped using Etsy after I bought a pair of earrings supposedly handmade in Switzerland. (I know, I'm a sucker born) I was suspicious about the package which came from Hoboken, New Jersey, via China. I actually sent a text to the seller asking him why I'd get a package from China if they were in Switzerland? I knew it was a scam, but I still wanted to see what they would say. Someone did reply, writing something about an employee using the wrong envelope or some stupid nonsense. I made a complaint to Etsy and heard crickets. The other thing that also bothered me is sellers not even selling physical merchandise anymore, but selling downloads to make your own whatever. They seem to be purposely misleading buyers who will receive an email to download the diy project and not the actual cute item pictured. As Rosanne Rosannadanna said, "It's always something." 

Anyone making a profit endorsing the suffering of other human beings needs to be checked and cancelled. Have you ever figuratively put on a pair of MAGA shoes to try to comprehend why they have so much hate germinating inside of them? (Careful, it's like the House of Horrors at a carnival) It's mind boggling the effort they go through to show how much rage they carry. They not only have shown the world their offensive true selves, they want to now flaunt how proud they are to be empty of any moral decency.

From what I hear on the Bluesky vine is that people are calling out Etsy big time. Some of the sellers have been taken down while others continue to pop up. Anyone with a conscience should not be going to Etsy or Amazon anyway. Anyone with a beating heart should not be buying merchandise which mocks the imprisonment and suffering of others.

We do have some leverage. We simply stop buying from greedy, sick and corrupt entities. We continue to hound them until they stop allowing hate merchandise to be sold.

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
