Breaking The Law

 


There's Kid Rock and there's Matteo Cattaneo. They are both restaurant owners who employed immigrants. Both restaurants were raided by ICE, with Kid Rock allegedly receiving a tip they were coming. Cattaneo was blindsided when the masked "just following orders" Trump sycophants threw down flash bang grenades then rounded up and zip tied terrified employees.

I'm going to go out on a short limb and assume Kid Rock and Matteo Cattaneo had two very different reasons for hiring (alleged) illegal immigrants. 

Kid Rock is a typical MAGA. The, "Do as I say, not as I do!" mantra is tiresome, yet one they employ every single day. He doesn't want brown people living here, yet he needs cheap labor to run his restaurant so he can buy glittery clown costumes to visit the orange man. 

Cattaneo claims he can only go by the paperwork given, and assumes his employees are legal. That's the defense of every business who hires illegals. Do I believe Cattaneo? No. I also believe his motives and the ugly musician's are vastly different. 

Kid Rock used people. Cattaneo wanted to help and protect his employees. If there actually were illegal immigrants working for Cattaneo, then both men are breaking the law. Even when it's a fucking horrible death walk, law. 

This is where morals and ethics and life decisions become convoluted. Do we help people knowing we are breaking the law, even a law that will ruin lives, with the possibility that many immigrants will die?

In my opinion this is the difference between Republican swine and Democratic weenies. Republicans don't care about being morally correct while the left is bound by the 'chiseled in stone' rule of law.

Oskar Schindler saved more than a thousand lives during Hitler's reign of terror. He broke the law every time he rescued someone from the eventuality of imprisonment and/or death. 

Trump and his racist rotted walking garbage have no room for empathy or compassion. They just want a white world filled with white, racist, dumb as rocks lemmings to use and abuse for their own gain. 

When are the representatives on the left going to get it, Trump's law need not apply? The fate of humanity should take precedence over a wicked, heartless, senseless act to nullify a life? Get off your high horse, get together, make a plan, get rid of the demented creature in the tower and do something to save our democracy and your integrity, if you have any left.

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
