Do Better, SNL

 


 I don't know Aimee Lou Wood, but I did see she was hurt by an SNL skit where she was impersonated by one of the comedians who wore big front teeth and spoke with a goofy accent. 

I don't like when comedy gets mean. Making fun of a person's physical appearance is low class. If you have to mock someone for laughs, you are not a comedian. You are an asshole.

Again, I don't know anything about Aimee Lou Wood other than she's an actor with a cute overbite. Does that make her an acceptable target?

There are loads of comedians who make a good living hurling insults while trying to be as offensive as possible. I won't name them. You know them.

Don't be like them. Be smart, clever, witty and entertaining without resorting to ugly attacks.

Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....

   Gosh, well isn't that generous. $5,000.  I'm gonna go out right now and find me an Elon, ready to spare some sperm and have me some babies. I'll be rich! Oh, wait... Ooh, that's gonna put a dent in my FA for the cause. Let's see... $5,000 - $2,854 = $2,146 left for me to... Oh, wait... Hmm... so, $70 x 12 = $840, which leaves me with $1,306. So, I will need a bassinet, crib, some bedding, burpy towels, baby wipes, baby bottles, formula, breast pump, room monitor, pediatrician, onesies, uh ... I need to work! Who's going to care for my baby while I'm gone!? I'm so tired. I can't do this. The government has shut down all assistance. What am I going to do with a baby!? I think I'll go have a glass of wine with my peeps instead. *All information Googled.
