The first thing I saw on Bluesky was a poster accusing the famous newlyweds of being horrible, vile shits for inviting Steven Demetriou, who allegedly makes a living housing brown people, and not in the way you'd think the couple would support. So, cynical me takes a look and the only thing I saw was a feed on Facebook apologizing for confusing Sr. with Jr. who was at the wedding. 

I posted the post, then heard some more through the ether that both father and son were indeed at the wedding. If true regarding Sr. and his involvement in locking up innocent people, then I agree, it was a shitty thing to have him there. He's a friend of a friend of Travis, the groom. The couple must have known he was going to be there unless he crashed the shenanigans and that is highly unlikely. 

Sure puts a damper on the lovely couple's nuptials if its true. I wasn't a fan of either before and have zero fucks to give regarding their life. Meh, maybe  a few fucks in my pocket because I'm here. The whole wedding has been in our faces for days. It was hard to avoid, but, I kind of liked the comparison between good vs. evil. Couple vs. Fatso, fighting for prime time clicks.

Anyway, the whole thread has been an all day affair where we all seem to be on the same page regarding horrible people. I think I continue the pointless back and forth because I need to be right- sort of. I can admit when I'm wrong. I just won't trust myself then. That's bothersome and sad and a life lesson I keep forgetting. Especially when I'm arguing with strangers who could be perfectly perfect humans. 

Yeah, in the scheme of things, assholes are invited to weddings. There's always one. The man should never have been invited if word on the street is true. 

The other bit here is people bitching about the couple donating a measly $26 million dollars. Bastards!! Lol. They didn't have to share a penny. 

Ok,  the marriage is off to a flying start. Good luck with your MIL, Taylor. She seems like a real sweet lady. 😉 Make better choices, kids. Everyone is watching you.

The Best Books Of All Time?

  😬 I consider myself an avid reader. Having noted that, there are very few books I have read from The Guardian's best 100 books of all time. My list is less than a dozen, even counting a few I started and never finished. 174 prominent writers participated in creating brain food for your pleasure. They each contributed ten of their favorite reads and someone somewhere somehow tabulated the favorites. Without further ado, the number one book of all time is ...... Middlemarch. The fucking hell it is. Lol. Like art, what you like is subjective. Some people believe Manga is good stuff. Others prefer historical novels, blah, blah, blah. I suppose the list is supposed to be taken more seriously because actual writers who make a living writing books have listed what they deemed the best read. I'm not a writer.   It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
