The Seven, Plus One
It's not in the Bible, but we've all heard the list of sins- and Christians like to share it with everyone, even if they don't follow its warning. The Seven Deadly Sins allegedly originated in the fourth century by a monk and has been twerked and twisted throughout the ages. Donald Trump will never receive a Nobel Prize, well one that is deserved, but he has achieved something else. He's managed to check off every sin on the list. Hey, none of us are perfect and I admit I can tick off the sins as well. I'm not the leader of anything, though and I try to learn from my choices. Trump uses it as his to do list.
Pride- " I think God is very proud of the job I've done. I think we've done an amazing job."*
Sir, that's not God you're speaking to, late at night, when you're all alone.
Greed- Trump has made over $4 billion dollars since 2024. The honor of being leader of this country gave him carte blanche to grift.
Lust- "I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it, you can do anything... Grab them by the pussy."
Envy- "If I were named Obama, I would have had the Nobel Prize given to me in ten seconds...He got the Nobel Prize for doing nothing."
Gosh, he truly hates that man. He's everything Trump can never be- kind, intelligent, tolerant and his family loves him more than life. He also likes dogs and children. I bet he has never sat in a dark room, eating french fries and thinking of ways to screw someone over.
Gluttony - Speaking of fries..."Maybe junk food is good."
Wrath- He turns on women. We've heard him. I found another story about him that I didn't know about until today. In 2011, during a meeting with lawyers regarding some real estate dealings, a lawyer asked if she could take a break to go to the bathroom and use a breast pump. Trump called her, "disgusting." He assumed she was going to pull out her breasts in front of him. He's seen hundreds of breasts, mostly when he wanders into dressing rooms at beauty pageants. He has no issue with that. Yet, a woman who is doing the most natural thing is labeled, disgusting. That just shows you his mentality regarding women. E Jean Carroll is a liar and a sick person. Kaitlin Collins is a sick person. Catherine Lucey is a piggy. Rosie O'Donnell is a "...fat pig, loser, slob and a threat to humanity." He has called Megyn Kelly a bimbo, nasty, lightweight and she gratefully accepts his wrath. It's mind boggling why any woman supports this cretin. You voted for a man who raped a woman, probably more than one. His own wife accused him of rape and though she backpedaled, I believe he did it. There is just no defense for his behavior and those who still voted for him knowing who he is.
Sloth- "I work out so much, like a minute a day, max, if I'm lucky."
I'm thinking this was an attempt at humor, something he lacks. He and his supporters find humor in calling others names. He's a first class bully. Mary Trump, his niece, has mentioned when he was a child he used to throw stones at the neighbor baby. Let's all be grateful he doesn't own any animals.
Sadness - This was originally part of the sins. I doubt Trump feels that emotion. He causes it but he lacks the ability to feel empathy, compassion or kindness. He truly is a damaged human. In all his years on earth I'm going to bet has never cried. If he has, it's only been for what he has lost.
Sadness - he's achieved it by passing it on to us. The damage he has done can never be washed away. Eventually we will right the wrong, but this never should have happened and we will never be able to erase the stain. It's been 81 years since Hitler blew his brains out after ordering the murders of millions. Germany has worked hard to show they are not who they once were. And yet... mention the country and the first image is of Hitler, Auschwitz and death. 250 years of so many people trying to make this country a better place, a good place, destroyed by one ugly, evil man who found his way to be leader of this country by the very people who hold tight to their chests, the Bible and the list of seven deadly sins.
*The quote has been abridged, condensed and changed- not by me. The quote I posted is from Yahoo. In January of this year he was asked by a reporter if he thought God thought he was doing a good job.
