To The Judge Who Killed Her
Another woman was murdered by someone she knew, a man she had once loved, a man who thought she was his property and refused to let her move on. She had done everything she was supposed to do to protect herself and her children and had gone to court seeking a restraining order last month. On April 1, Makayla Plaza was stabbed to death because she was denied the restraining order by a Kenosha county judge, even though there was evidence of domestic violence. As of this post, the name of that judge is not known, but I will find it because everyone must know who failed this woman. When a woman goes so far as to finally get the courage to go into a court room to get help from authorities, believe her!!!!
You are just as culpable in her murder as the man who stabbed her. You were standing right next to him as Makayla cried out for help. You have blood on your hands you can never wash away. This story won't go away. I didn't even know the victim yet this has enraged me. I can only imagine how her family and friends think about you and what you have done, which was turn your back on someone asking for help. You did nothing to protect Plaza. I hope every day for you from this day forward is a living hell. You have no excuse for your decision. There is zero justification for denying Makayla Plaza a restraining order.
You did this.
*Let them know we won't forget.
**You can argue with me that a piece of paper does nothing to protect a person if someone is determined to hurt them. I disagree. But we'll never know because there are too many disgusting people in official positions who do absolutely nothing to believe women. I'm just so disgusted with all of them.
