Pink, Pink, pink....

 


This was kind of neat, watching Artemis 2 travel to the far side of the moon. Everything seems to be going well with the exception of a broken toilet. Just watch The Big Bang Theory, season 2, episode 23, where Howard is in the same predicament.

Some interesting facts you might not know about the moon. One: It's not made of cheese. It does have a lot of craters from objects slamming into it, though.

Did you know the moon is slowly moving away from Earth? It is!

Twelve astronauts have stepped on the moon and those footsteps will be there for millions of years.

The Artemis 2 crew isn't landing but I believe they have gone farther than any other humans before them.

 'A Trip to the Moon,' a French science fiction movie was released in 1902. It was 14 minutes long. My kind of movie. 


Ralph Kramden never fulfilled his promise to send Alice to the moon. The Honeymooners only ran for one season. 

"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore." Sung by Dean Martin in 1953.

'Moonstruck,' wasn't Nicholas Cage's first movie but definitely one we won't forget. Who can forget the immortal line, "Snap out of it!" I can't.

You've had an awful childhood if your parents didn't read, 'Goodnight Moon,' to you. It was published in 1947 to lackluster sales but has sold nearly 50 million copies since then. 

Napoleon looked at the moon. Shakespeare, Elizabeth 1, Henry the Eighth, Joan of Arc, Bob Ross, your first love, all looked up at that beautiful moon. 

People like Joe Rogan, Whoopi Goldberg and Kim Kardashian have questioned whether Neal Armstrong ever stepped foot on the moon. It's one of the favorite conspiracies amongst conspirators who enjoy conspiracies.

The Dark Side of Oz... Synchronizing Pink Floyd with the Wizard is kind of cool, although the band dismissed it as nonsense. I'm sure the concept can be used for many movies and songs. It's still neato.

I wish the crew a safe voyage back. I'm hoping we'll be here to greet them considering the orange man might take us all out. That would make an interesting story, with no one around but four astronauts to tell it. I think I can safely assume we all love that rock. I can't imagine anyone disliking the moon. 

One last thing. This song by Nick Drake in probably one of the best ads for a car ever made.

Benny, Benny And No Regrets

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm.
