Stranger Things

 


I'm not a big fan of science fiction and the only reason I started watching 'Stranger Things,' was out of boredom. I do like all the characters, some more than others. (Hello, Joe 😘😘) it's just the story is lame. Sorry, fans. 

We all love it when kids save the world from evildoers. I'm having a hard time trying to decipher who the evil guys are here. I still don't know why certain children, like Eleven, are needed. The monsters are pretty cool. They seem to be the monster du jour. The movie, "A Quiet Place,' has the same monsters with the Venus fly trap type head. I nearly made it through episode four of season five but just went and looked up what happened. It's not over, however. More episodes will be coming in spits and bits. Supposedly this is the very last in the series. Will I watch the rest? The magic eight ball says, "unlikely."

Here are a few suggestions I found to be much better, where children saved our butts while the adults went AWOL. 

Super 8. 

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Gentleman episode is a frickin classic.

The Gate.

It.

Goosebumps.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This only has a 44% like on Rotten Tomatoes, but I love this movie. 

Jeepers Creepers 2. Oops. This only got a 25% on Rotten Tomatoes. They don't exactly save the world because this dude keeps coming back, but they tried. 

Dump Trump. Coming to a theater near you. The kids are ready to take the evil orange man on since the adults have given up. It shouldn't be too difficult to rid the world of this piece of garbage. Take away his Big Macs and Diet Coke. Mock him about his mushroom. Tell him Elon will always have more money than him. It really shouldn't take much. A little nudge is all it would take and like the soldiers who brought Dorothy the broomstick of the wicked witch after she melted, you too will forever be our heroes. Think about it, kids. I think the lawnmower kid can get you in. We're counting on ya. As for the adults, we'll be completely oblivious to catastrophic events because 'Stranger Things' is on.

Not my jam, so I have never seen it. Did see a pic of Millie Bobby Brown though and I like her face. Maybe she and I will hook up one day. Stranger things have happened.

Benny, Benny And No Regrets

  It's just so hard to keep up with maga creeps. Here's Benny  Johnson, the guy who started the rumor that DC was a cesspool. He also claimed his house burned down while his family was in it. He's a liar. His house never burned down. You really can't believe much of what this asshat says because he has a habit of playing with facts. He also likes to steal other people's words. He has been fired and suspended numerous times for plagiarism, at least 41 times. It just boggles my mind when these people blatantly lie, then are outraged when called out. People like Johnson, Trump and Leavitt have probably lived their whole lives creating a make believe existence where lying is the norm. At some point it just becomes routine where they find lying acceptable and necessary. To me they are empty shells of mindless walking automatons. They live in a bubble of falsehoods. Denver, Dover, Dever

  OMG! Kelly Denver, I mean Dover, no, Dever was on the stand in the Karen Read Trial. Holy Moly!  In 2023, she wrote a statement claiming she saw two Canton police officers who were in the sallyport "for a wildly long time." where Karen Read's SUV had been towed. Now Devers, who gets snippy if her name is mispronounced, says that was all a false memory. She now says she wasn't even working at the time the SUV was brought in. Taking the stand on Monday, she accused the defense of angrily confronting her after learning she had changed her testimony, then Dever's states they threatened to charge her with perjury. She said she went to the FBI to make a complaint. Alan Jackson, the defense attorney asks, "Do you have a report?" Naturally, she did not, because she made no such report.  Of all the people who have pissed me off, and there is a long list, she is by far the worst. She is a cop whose recall of events is crucial. She is hostile and a terrible liar....
