Hump Wednesday 7

I have no intention of watching the orange man's public tirade tonight. Whatever his original goal is will certainly spiral into nonsensical gibberish. It really is time to ignore the mouth breathing twat and go about business without him.

If I had to venture a guess I'd say he is going to declare war on Venezuela. But, who knows, it could be about his ballroom, Epstein, French fries...

Hey, thanks photographers. You managed to kill endangered galaxy frogs, you bastards.

It was shocking to see all the misinformation regarding the Brown University shooting. In their need to be number one with exclusive news, the media published false claims the shooter had been apprehended. Some named the suspect. Some posted an image of the suspect. One source went so far as to make a timeline of how suspect did the deed. The same with the Reiner tragedy. It's no longer about credibility, but about getting the views.

Speaking of views, Erika Kirk's biased interview got some numbers, but not the sponsorship. I always thought CBS leaned right, but now it's fully MAGA. I don't think Erika will be successful in her leadership role. I'm thinking there will be a splinter of Charlie fanatics who can't abide a woman being in charge of anything but the stove. There's something off with that woman.

I received another letter in the mail from a medical group who works within the hospital I use. They too had their site breached and all my information was stolen. This is the second time this year this has happened. What truly infuriates me is that in the letter they warn us to be careful sharing information. Helloooo! How about you be careful with my information, you @#$&@!

Since I'm no longer a member of Amazon, I probably won't see any money coming my way regarding the huge settlement. Missed it by that much.

Now I must go do some sleuthing. There is a banging noise which is driving me bonkers. It sounds like someone put boots in a dryer but this has been going on for 24 hours.

The book I am reading... 'The Merry Recluse,' by Caroline Knapp, a book of short essays, written posthumously. Knapp died at the age of 42 from lung cancer. She was a two pack a day smoker, plus she was an alcoholic. I've read the first three chapters and honestly, I think I am tired of reading about people who destroy their own lives. I've read them all. One thing I miss from my childhood is being able to read a book without cynicism or judgement. It's rare these days to just dive into a book, to be so invested in it you don't realize hours have passed. I miss that.

I've long seen CBS news as news for old people. Now that I'm old, I seek out more whippersnappery news.
